Pendant Lamp

Mmm ... this didn't turn out as well as I wanted. I was trying to mirror the pattern in the bookcase by etching the glass piece that I'll use to make a pendant lamp. I used some glass etching stuff that etched unevenly in some places after 3 applications of about 5 mins. each.

It also was hard to work with proportions on the curved glass.

I may just decoupage the whole thing with some lacy washi, but I'm worried once again with the curves of the glass. I only spent a couple of dollars on the glass, and about ten on the glass etching stuff of which I used about a quarter of the bottle.

I etched something back in high school, but the etching was much stronger and more even. It must've been a stronger acid than the stuff I got.
