I hosted a Church of Craft with Willo way back a few months ago. It was definitely super fun, and many crafts were made. I wish I could host it every month, but there are a few too many factors that keep me from setting aside a Sunday every month. I'm excited about hosting another one tomorrow!

Mmm ... this didn't turn out as well as I wanted. I was trying to mirror the pattern in the bookcase by etching the glass piece that I'll use to make a pendant lamp. I used some glass etching stuff that etched unevenly in some places after 3 applications of about 5 mins. each.It also was hard to work with proportions on the curved glass.I may just decoupage the whole thing with some lacy washi,

I hosted a holiday card making party and served up some rum to drink and rum cake. I didn't actually start making cards until most people left, but it was still really fun. I just tried out my Walnut Hollow stuff today and made a late holiday gift for Reiko. Alphabet stamps and calligraphy tip.Look closely in the lower right hand corner and you can see I heat embossed her name on the cover of this bonded leather journal.
